Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Dekator provides evidence-based AI-visibility audits. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. Questions: privacy@dekator.com.

2. What we collect

Account details (name, email), the inputs you submit for an audit (page URLs, brand names, commercial queries, optional business context), usage and diagnostic data, and payment metadata processed by Paddle. We do not store full card numbers.

3. How we use it

To run your audits, deliver and re-open your reports, provide support, secure and improve the service, and handle billing. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Evidence archives and retention

An audit stores the evidence it collected so the report can be rendered and re-opened. When you delete an audit or close your account, the associated evidence is purged within 30 days, and residual backups age out within a further 30 days.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and a minimal amount of product analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Processors

We rely on infrastructure providers to host the service, on Paddle for payments, and on search and AI providers to observe answer surfaces and generate analysis. Processors act under contract and only as needed to provide the service.

7. Sharing

We share data only with the processors above, when required by law, or to protect the service and its users. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is restricted on a need-to-know basis, and any personal provider keys you supply are stored encrypted.

9. Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your data from Settings → Account, or by contacting privacy@dekator.com. Depending on your location you may have additional rights, which we honor as required by law.

10. International transfers

Your data may be processed in regions other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Changes

We may update this policy and will note the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated by a reasonable means.
